The Hawaii Community Development Authority will officially begin operating out of the historic American Brewery Building on Queen Street near Downtown Honolulu on March 16, the state agency overseeing the redevelopment of Kakaako said Monday. The HCDA said that its phone and fax lines will be down on March 13 in preparation for the move, and that it can be contacted by email on that day.

A 26-year-old missionary from the Philippines who was reported missing in Honolulu earlier this month has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. Kristina Angeles was reported missing after failing to return to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in Waipahu on Jan. 30. Angeles, whose visa was set to expire in April, was arrested at the Pearl City police station on Thursday morning.

The Honolulu Medical Examiner identified the two men who were shot to death in Kalihi Sunday and classified their deaths as a homicide. The M.E. says 29-year-old Culver Rosokow died of a gunshot wound to the head, and 33-year-old Asano Samachy died of a gunshot wound to the chest.

One day after the two men were gunned down on Sand Island, Honolulu police have not yet made an arrest or released details of exactly who they are looking for. A small memorial has sprung up along the road where the men were shot.
