Iyo Udon restaurant at Ala Moana Center received a yellow placard from the Hawaii Department of Health, but a removed it before putting in back in time for a follow-up inspection, the DOH said. The Hawaii Department of Health has busted an udon restaurant at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu for removing a negative inspection placard from its window, costing Iyo Udon $11,000 in fines, the DOH said Monday.

A lane of North School Street is closed due to an 8-inch water main break in the 1600 block, the Honolulu Board of Water Supply said. The right, westbound lane on School Street will be closed between Makuahine Street and Likelike Highway for the duration of the repair, which is expected to continue overnight.
